Learn the answers

Practise out loud
Knowing an answer and saying it under time pressure are different skills. The mock interview asks one question at a time with a timer. Answer with your voice or by typing.
- 3Step 3 · 1-2 hours0 of 6 prepared
Prepare your HR answers
Every interview has questions about you. Prepare them once, word for word, using Situation, Task, Action and Result. They are saved so you can read them before the interview.
- 4Step 4 · 1 hour
The day before
Do not learn new things the night before. Revise, prepare your setup and sleep well.
- Read the job description again and list the 5 tools they mention most
- Practise 'Tell me about yourself' out loud, under 90 seconds
- Prepare one project story with a problem you solved and a result
- Revise the Fresher questions for the 3 tools in the job description
- Prepare 2 questions to ask them (team, on-call, how they deploy)
- Check your internet, camera and microphone if it is online
- Have a pen and paper ready for system design or troubleshooting questions
- Sleep well. A rested brain answers better than one more hour of revision
Questions to ask them at the end
- “How does the team deploy to production today?”
- “What does on-call look like for this role?”
- “What would success look like in my first 3 months?”
- “Which tools or processes would you like to improve next?”
